Scope of Certification
The Checks of Conformity independently assessed by competent and qualified audit professionals demonstrate OneID Limited, as an Age Check Provider, can accurately, appropriately and to acceptable and identified levels of assurance disseminate to a relying party whether or not a citizen is 18 years of age or over by reference to:
- Records of identity and date of birth held and maintained by a bank authorised and regulated under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
- Records of identity and date of birth maintained by a Credit Reference Agency authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under Article 89B of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 2001 (S.I. 2001/544) (as inserted by the (Amendment) (No.2) Order 2013 (S.I. 2013/1881), art. 1(2)(6), 8(2));
The Checks of Conformity included assessment under ACCS 2:2021 Technical Requirements for Data Protection and Privacy, being criteria approved by the Information Commissioner’s Office in accordance with the Commissioner’s tasks and powers under Articles 57(1)(n) and 58(3)(f) pursuant to Article 42(5) of the UK General Data Protection Regulation.
